The XVIII FIFA World Cup will be held from 9th June to 9th July 2006 across 12 venues in Germany, with 32 nations competing in the month-long festival of sporting excellence.

The responsibility for staging the tournament rests with the 2006 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee Germany (the “Organising Committee”). World Cup Accommodation Services (WCAS), a Consortium led by the Organising Committee, has been established to provide accommodation for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany. WCAS’s hotel inventory consists of more than 46,000 hotel rooms spread across the twelve venues.
